Question steering column

Hi there, iam new to this site and have a question,trying to pull the steering column from the steering box,it doesnt want to come apart,have taken out all the bolts that i can see ,this is on a 53ford customline.these pieces are still on the car which i am tearing down for parts for my 54ford customline,Idid some looking here but dont seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated,thank you. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

If I remember correctly the steering shaft is one piece from the steering wheel bolt to the pinon gear in the steering box.

Thank you for the reply, I think you are right.Ive dropped the front susp. am also taking the motor out, then i will take out the steering.Thank you again..Al :p
