GRAMMER

Your writing is confusing.
OK, you are about done.
You hooked up everything except for the swivel unit.
At first the swivel unit was too short? Or the column was too short?
Look at the picture. The column has to extend into the engine compartment by at least 2 inches. It would be better if it extended into the engine compartment by 3 inches. From the column you should have two swivels before you reach the rag coupling. This will allow you plenty of flex to connect everything. You might have to replace the rag coupling if it has the wrong connector for you rod. I will try to find a more complete photo for you.

Picture

OK, I hope this picture helps a little more. The two swivels are taped over and this looks like a column that doesn't have the column shift. But it should help.

Done?

Well, what has happened? Do you have it finished? Find any more problems? Let me know where you are with the project. I just like to keep track of people I have helped. Or screwed up.
