Steering column help

Need some guidance on what steering columns out of what GM cars to look for in salvage yards. I am building a 34 Ford 3 Window coupe. I wish to retain all the functions of a late model GM steering column..locking, ignition, cruise, wipers, signals, hazards ect.

Thanks
Vince

The one to use depends on if you want column or floor shift. If you want floor shift look at the ones out of a Camaro/Firebird. For a Column shift, most of the GM cars work good but you might want to steer away from the ones in full size pickups as they could be too long. I used a Cadillac Tilt/Tele in the 36.

Sorry EBlack36, forgot to include that with my requirements. I will be be going with a floor shift. I am wondering if the lenght will be just about right for a column out of a Camaro or Firebird. The IFS on the car is Mustag II with rack & pinion steering.

Thanks
Vince
