Have any of ya'll ever used a circle track type steering column in a hotrod build? What would be the pros and cons?

I've thought about those two things. I have a stock steering column that looks rough. I was wanting to do a Nascar type switch panel ignition so that would eliminate the key tumbler, so what could I do to get that racing look but streetable at the same time?

Go junk-yarding and find a manual floor-shift column from a pre-70 vehicle (if they still exist in scrapyards). Hmmm, prolly pretty hard to find even if they weren't all crushed. Those will not have a column switch. Or drop $250 on a cheapo column from Speedway Motors or use a race column and this clip-on turn signal switch.

I like the clip on steering wheel..makes getting in and out a lot easier..

While we are talking about columns I have a 60 falcon 2dr wagon where is the best place to get a new column for my wagon its a 4sd Car Thanks Veach
