Steering column replacement 90 Chevy dually

I just replaced the steering column in the truck I just bought, it was already torn into so I opted to replace it with a used one. I have a few things that don't work: windshield wipers;horn; heater control, not related to column. These things may have not worked when I bought it cause the motor was junk and would not run so I have just got it going and need some info.
Does anyone have any wiring diagrams of these items or can direct me to some I could view?
I've tried some searches but to no avail. My motor manuals don't cover the newer vehicles 86-up.
Thanks , Gerald

should be old body style and old style column '84-91

84 was first year for brights and wipers on the column in the full size trucks

theyre not too bad to work on but a little tedious regarding the brights and multifunction switch reassembly

unless wiring is chopped somewhere or something the heater blowers usually quit due to corrosion at the wire plug at the blower motor, or bad ground wire there on one of the attaching screws, check these, clean them etc.,

also sometimes the wiring plug for the relay mounted on the box under the hood gets dirty or the relay quits

also if it only has high speed then check the resistors, the wiring plug in the box, the resistors are held in place with two small screws

sometimes low and medium springs burn up on it

high speed is direct no spring

horn is probably either horns not plugged in behind the grille, or bad horn relay it is mounted to the fuese panel and square light blue color or dark green color.

try another one

if still nothing then make sure wire under steering wheel cap is connected try grounding it and see if the horn works or the relay clicks

if it clicks then its all good but the horns are bad or not connected

No, it could be either body style. Only the crewcab duallies were old body style through 1991. The two door and extended cab duallies used the new body style starting in 1988.
