Steering problem
I just completed a 1930 Model A 5 window coupe street rod.( all Ford running gear) I have a leaf spring over a 4” drop Super Bell “I” beam axle. 4 bar set up with a Cross-steer Rack and Pinion and a Pan hard. The Caster is set at 8 to 9 degs. Positive. Camber appears to be 1 to 2 degs set in the Axle by the manufacture. Driver’s side is positive and the passenger side is negative. The Toe In is 1/16 to 1/8 inch. The problem I’m having, is it feels like I’m getting “Bump steering” (?) to the right, when I go over a rough section of road (40 to 50 mph). Other wise it drives and tracks great. Hope someone may have a suggestion that I can try, to correct the problem.

Mine has a four inch dropped axle a four bar system and a panhard bar, I am side steering with a Mustang box. I cured that problem on mine by adding a So-Cal steering damper ( it looks like a small skinny shock absorber).
