Steering sector swap

I swapped out the original manual steering box on my '28 Buick for a manual Ford F100 unit, because it was available, the right configuration and gave me the clearance I needed for my headers, etc. I haven't put it back on the ground yet so its not too late to make changes if I have to. When I configured it, I noted that the pitman arm was within 1/2 inch of the same length as the steering arm on the straight front axle, and the drag link between the pitman and the steering arm isn't level to the ground but its not at a bizarre angle, its maybe within 10 degrees of level. I don't have a clue about the correct geometry, tried to get what I could from the net, but I'd appreciate it if somebody could tell me if I'm asking for trouble with what I'm describing or if there are also other considerations I need to check out? Sorry this is so long......

I have questions about the ujoints I had to put in the steering shaft, but I'll hold off with them for a little bit.
