Steering wheel

I have a 1955 Ford with a 1956 dashboard. Does anyone know if there was a difference in the length of the steering column between 1955 and 1956?

I am looking for a NEW steering wheel similar to the original 1956 steering wheel. It was plastic on a metal frame. It had three spokes which divided the wheel circle into 3 equal circular arcs, was deep dish (about 4 1/2 or 5 inches), and 18 inches in diameter. It, of course, accommodated Ford's horn button/ring used that year. I am looking for white.

I have talked to Grant and the Wheel Shoppe. Has anyone got any ideas concerning a wheel of this general description that would fit the Ford column even if it required a different horn button or horn ring?
