:D Got myself into a predicament in regards to a steering wheel. I have a Cadillac tilt, telescopic steering column ('73) that needs a steering wheel. The original Cadillac wheel was pretty ratty and so I started to look for one in the after market. Saw a few on "flea-bay" and then decided to go for one of them. In the meantime I ordered a MOMO adaptor, as they are built for the telescopic feature, which accomodates 6 mounting hole type wheels. Now I have a problem because I want to mount some other type of wheel other than MOMO. Does anyone know who makes the 6 hole version type of steering wheel? Most of them are 5 hole or 9 hole types. This is going into my '32 street rod which means that it has to look like it belongs there.
You might give Roger a call @ "The Wheel Shoppe" www.thewheelshoppe.com...... He builds probably the nicest Banjo wheel available and has all the knowledge available to maybe do a conversion to your Momo hub. I found this "Wheel Shoppe" Banjo wheel on ebay, the guy only used it 1 month in a T bucket and wanted a smaller wheel (???) And it was even the right color!
Nut that looks just like my LeCarra I have. Only mines Black
