That would depend on several things. The materials, temperature/humidity, and environment (Paint booth or not).
If you are using a clear that is normally baked, and it was not baked, you might want to make sure that you give it plenty oif time to gas out some. If it has been wet sanded and buffed, it should be OK. Usually a day or so, under those conditions. I would wait atleast 4 hours if it is a non-bake clear and the temp is over 70 deg. My main concern is that the clear is hard enough that the tape does not embed into the clear. Aaron |
