Post stickshift transmission

How do I get a 5 speed stickshift tran. that is stuck in gear to come out?

Come on BST... you can't tell from his post? I thought you could read their minds.

How you get it out of gear depends on what you are working on. Provide some info and you might get an answer that helps.

I couldn't get a good signal, but I get the strongest feeling he's working on a manual-o-matic with a phantom clutch.
