Stock 1974 sbc 350 build
I have a stock 74 350 sbc,looking to make a good street motor.Would like input on size of cam and heads to use,the car its going into is a 81 trans am with 2.56 gear ratio.Thanks all in advance.Sorry about the duplicate post can someone please delete.

Lots of ways to go, you just need to tell what your idea of 'street motor' is, how much you are willing to spend (heads etc) a target CR etc etc etc.

wow you definitely need to lose that 2.56 if you want any decent acceleration
just changing that to a 3.73 etc will alone make for a much quicker car youve got a heavier car so i wouldnt go with a crazy cam and would go with one for more of a low end torque output because i dont think youre going to go to the track and run high RPM all the time good luck
