Use the Camquest program, find a Comp cam as similar as you can to the Summit cam, and compare the 2-bbl to a 4-bbl. You might be surprised. Or not.

Cam Quest download

Estimated difference in HP between a 2 bbl (350 cfm) and a 600 cfm 4 bbl:

NOTE:
• All 2bbl peaks are: hp @ 4000 rpm/tq @ 2000 rpm regardless of cam (of these three).
• All hp peaks are at 4000 rpm, regardless of cam or 2bbl or 4bbl carb.
• With 4bbl, tq peak is 500 rpm higher w/each cam change.

12-300-4 - HIGH Energy
240H cam w/2bbl: 222 hp @ 4000 rpm/363 tq @ 2000 rpm
240H cam w/4bbl: +26 hp/+9 tq @ 2500 rpm; Avg. power +13 tq/+15 hp

12-305-2 - PURE Energy
246PE cam w/2bbl: 225 hp/356 tq
246PE cam w/4bbl:+30 hp/+14 tq @ 3000 rpm; Avg. power +13 hp/+17 tq

12-207-2 - DUAL Energy
255DEH cam w/2bbl: 231/348
255DEH cam w/4bbl:+30 hp/+21 tq @ 3500 rpm; Avg. power +8 hp/+10 tq

.. Yes, the more powerful the longblock, the more restrictive the 2bbl. is going to seem to be...
