stock 427 td suppercharged advice needed asap
hi,i recantly droped in a 427 tall deck into my 1976 gmc jimmy 4x4 and was wondering if i should drop my suppercharger on it or will i destory the motor, i know the motor has low origanal miles with only 1000km after a rebuild, from what i can tell it is bored 30,uses standar rods and main(and most likey 4 ring pistons), the blower is an old bonalite pm-3 blower(its very old but seems to solid and in good shape) just looking for advice for my build like safe psi and rmp or if im just asking for trouble with the blower, thanks in advance

Most any motor will tolerate 6 psi or less. Make sure you have enough carburetor and keep the mixture fat until you can dial it in. Also drop back on the ignition timing, then dial it back in a little at a time while looking closely at the plugs.
