keep the boost 7psi or less. (BDS blower pulley charts) watch the timing under boost 28-30deg. recurve the distributor
use 750 carbs. two edelbrock 1407's will work very well with a few mods.

blower cam GM 454-450hp LS-6 solid lifters replacement ( crane blueprint replacement) 284-284 242-242 .520-.520 114lsa .024 .028 lash
this one will have a noticable idle and a good power band w a blower.

hyd lifter blower cam comp cam #11-404-4

Both require new valve springs.
if the motor has peanut port heads, replace with open chamber oval port
049, 781 or same.

have you ever done anything with some of the old detroit 4-53 blowers? thanks for all the thoughts everybody, its been a huge help
