Stock 74 Pinto front end

Hi, I have a stock 74 Pinto (Mustang 11) front end in my 39 Plymouth coupe. It is well done and handles nice. The problem is that it "hangs" low under the rails and with the lower control arms straight across with the lower crossmember, it is only 3" off the ground. When I raise it up, (airbags) the fenders are above the wheels and it looks like a "gasser". This is not the look I want. Any ideas as to how I can fix this problem? Thanx

I have 2" drop spindles installed. The problem with the spindles is that it puts the front end even lower.

Sorry, I thought you meant the gasser look was too high. What exactly don't you like about the front end? What "look" are you going for?

i know what you mean. I have a pinto font end on my 37 Plymouth and I have to raise the rear of the car first before I can even get a jack under my frame. I'm using 215/65R15 tires on the front and they just fit. i'm thinking of installing a slightly stiffer spring in the front to compensate for the 440.
Let me know how you make out.
