Stock cam timing

I bought a half done project with a 302, number D9AE 6015 ED13.
Is the factory stock cam timing retarded or not? If you look in ten different places, you get ten differing opinions.
Also, what bracket do I use for A/C delete on this engine?

I'm not sure there's any way to know for sure, other than degreeing the cam.
