Stock main cap bolts

Can/Should I trust stock bolts to hold the mains on a 4 bolt 450HP sbc? I'm worried that by installing ARP studs I will need to rehone the already prepped block. In addition, I already have the entire rotating assembly in the motor, and i really don't want to take it all apart.
