Post Stock or Not?

I have a 74 Firebird Esprit that I just acquired. For a light, quick handling car, the 350 with a 2 barrel is more than enough for some people, but I just got done driving a 77 Monte with a 350, Vortec Heads and a four bbl to be general. I'm in the process of restoring it, and I was wondering if porting the heads, in most people's opinions, would infringe upon saying that the motor is still stock? I hope you can help me out.

It's stock if you don't own up to it. (as is the roller cam and rockers) It won't do an awful lot of good unless you look at the whole picture, including intake, carb and exhaust. IMHO, No it's not stock but you won't gain much. Why worry about "stock" unless you are showing it as a judged car? Have fun with it, and keep the hood closed. "sure,,, it's stock"
