Stock pushrods?

Will my stock pushrods work with a howards cam with 1700-5700 rpm 284 intake/exhaust duration, .470 intake/exhaust valve lift

They`ll work, but inspect them very carefully. Check them for straightness and make sure the passages are clear. Also check both ends for wear. It`s recommended to go to heat treated push rods anytime the cam is stepped up, but when I was starting out I ran a cam larger than yours on stock pushrods and didn`t have any issues.

Need to qualify that.... Depends on the engine.

For a SBC, Doublevision is correct.... BUT that may not be the correct answer for other engines.

I have no doubt you're probably working on a SBC...... BUT when asking a question please provide more info so you can get accurate answers. We can't read your mind so we don't know if you're working on a Mopar, Ford, AMC, Buick, Olds... whatever and not all engines are designed the same so the correct answer for one engine may not be the correct answer for another.

Just food for thought.
