Probably At a chop shop being customized

Somebody had a not so pristine 54 and borrowed this one to make his disappear and this one become his! Usually these cars are gone in under 72hrs never to be seen again. There are exceptions like that Dude's Vette that came back after like 20yrs, found at the dock getting loaded in a container going on a sea cruise!! This really sucks....baseball bat time..if you knew where to swing it...@##$$%&^&**Thieves!

like the high dollar 37 coupe that Troy Trapnahe [ wrong spelling of the last name I'm sure] , that was stolen from a parking lot in Michigan, last month. they took transporter and all,, a car valued at over 450 K dollars,, and in the posession of the builder,, which means that he is responsable for it,, Bummer,

This damn theves are getting pretty brave,, but they are PROFESIONALS, and mostly are getting away with it,, that gone on 60 seconds has some serious meaning to it,,

Enough to piss off the pope,, Bill

Gary Dunes is a popular DJ in Syracuse.

Thieves should be shot, then while holding onto to the last threads of life, have their "sacks" ripped off nice and slow by some old fat hungarian woman named Helga!

from this page

UPDATE: Yesterday one of the local TV stations, WTVH 5 ran a story about my car being stolen, complete with pictures in their Noon, evening and 11 pm newscasts urging anyone that spotted that car or had any information to call 911. This morning my car was found at A Red Roof Inn motel near the NYS Thruway. I’m going to get it shortly. The police officer that contacted me said other than a missing hub cap it appeared to be in good shape. I’m guessing the thief got nervous and realized it was going to be tough to hide the car or sell it. Thanks again to everyone here at Chevy Talk for all your help and support.

Kudos to the NYS cops... Send 'em a dozen donuts on me!! If they ever ID the guy who boosted your hardtop, I'll pitch in for airfare to have Helga flown to NY to get the "sac" job done.
Glad to hear you got your ride back Duner, I had a burnt orange and ivory 54 2dr sedan back in high school and had to sell it to pay off an unsatisfied judgment against me after I got out of the service just so I could get my license back. I had to settle for my 53 hardtop to get over all that adolescent trauma... Finally at 55, It's all good now.

In the big scheme of things, I reckon hubcaps are relatively cheap. Happy motoring!
