*stolen car and tow rig*

I'm copying this from the Buick Performance Group board to as many message boards as possible in the remote chance that someone might see it

Jill Csodas 1971 "Dark Green" (almost black looking ) Skylark was stolen this morning Between 1am and 6am from the parking lot of the Crystal Inn in North East Maryland.
The Skylark was on Carl Ryclicks brand new black open trailer connected to Doug Heckers 1987 Suburban, all three were taken.

Here's the information:

1971 Buick Skylark Dark Green, plate # CMP9567 New York.
"JILLY" on drivers side window...Finishline Motorsports sticker on back window.

1987 GMC Suburban Dark Blue, lots-o-rust, plate # BB9310 New Jersey.

Brand new Black open trailer with Maine plate on it.

Please keep your eyes and ears open, any information, call.......................

John Csordas @ his cell #..........914-447-6068

Thanks

The owner should contact every junkyard in the area, maybe about a 100 mile radius and give them the info (fax) about the stolen car.

There was a car thief ring in Maryland that stole classics and tried to part them out about 6 years ago. The junkyard I used to go to off route 210 towards Anapolis (forget the name) had an newspaper article on the wall about this crook and I asked the guy who ran the junkyard about it. He said the crook tried to sell parts off the stolen cars (fenders, seats, etc.) and he turned him away. Other junkyards knew about him too.

The real sad thing is one owner actually tracked his car down, I think it was a Road Runner at the crooks house, sitting on a trailer, and he called the police and the police couldn't immediately do anything about it because it was on private property.

Anyway, hope this car is found fast!

/\phucking red tape the authorities need to go through these days.

as for the Buick, I hope he gets it back soon and in one piece, I also hope it doesnt end up in South Centeral LA with 26" rims and a ghetto-rig 3tennis ball lift with hydraulics and the usual bullet holes from being used as a shield in gang shootouts.

********notified the Grand Am Owners Club (www.gaownerslcub.com), www.n-body.net <GA/alero/fwd malibu site www.amxperience.com, and www.saturnfans.com. I don't know if I'm still a member at www.turbosaturns.net but I'll try to let those guys know also.

Thanks guys and thanks LS6 for doing that. Unfortunately this is not an isolated case as someone tried to break into another tow rig that night and another Buick racer had their car stolen at Englishtown. This is something we all need to watch out for at shows, races ect.

There was this freekin awesome Monte Carlo SS t-top that got stolen earlier this year from somewhere. Any updates on that?

I guess we need to pull the distributor wire when we park our cars from now on.
