straight axel front end monte carlo gasser?

i have an 81 monte carlo that iv recentlydone all the front suspensionon and tojust be honest when i seen the front end standin tall and proud thats when it hit me... this car needs to be a gasser! my only question is would i be able to find a straight axel front end for it?

Sorry...just my opinion but an '81 MC just doesn't seem like a l good candidate for a gasser.........but to each his own.

We put late 70s early 80s trans am front springs in my dads 80 Malibu four door, it looks like a gasser. He pulled out the 267 and now he is trying to chose between a 283, 327 or a 350 to put in it. I say the 283 or 327 but it's up to him. The monte will cool.
