straight axel front end monte carlo gasser?

i have an 81 monte carlo that iv recentlydone all the front suspensionon and tojust be honest when i seen the front end standin tall and proud thats when it hit me... this car needs to be a gasser! my only question is would i be able to find a straight axel front end for it?

choices choices...I have seen the axle from an early ford econoline and dodge a-100 van axles have been used and as well Speedway motors has a gasser axle kit..

Sorry...just my opinion but an '81 MC just doesn't seem like a l good candidate for a gasser.........but to each his own.

ha i jus seen ur name i built a 327 for this! but remember if noone was different the first time we would have never had gassers in the first place...

We put late 70s early 80s trans am front springs in my dads 80 Malibu four door, it looks like a gasser. He pulled out the 267 and now he is trying to chose between a 283, 327 or a 350 to put in it. I say the 283 or 327 but it's up to him. The monte will cool.
