straight Axle? - 40 chevy

Where can I find a straight axle kit for my 1940 chevy?

trying to build a 60's gasser with the straight axle front end but don't want to go the salvage yard route.

any help will be appreciated, Thanks

Yeah Speedway...first thing you do though is throw away the crappy Chinese? nuts and bolts and get some good hardware. Axle is fine.

Oh yeah and get different spindles and brake lines. The brake lines that come with the kit are crap and failed the first time we put pressure to them. The spindles again look like your typical "overseas" stuff. The axle and springs are fine. Junk everything else unless you like to live on the edge.
