Have you considered 90* or even 45* exit on your exhaust, you will be able to hear it better in the car that way. you can also crack the fiberglass in the mufflers.

Whack the tail pipes off, let the exhaust exit under the vehicle. The vehicle acts as a echo chamber, making it louder. Just make sure the exhaust gas doesn`t make it`s way into the cab, if so it can be deadly. Leaky trunk seals or holes in the body can cause exhaust gas to make it`s way in.

Whack off the turn downs. The exhaust is hitting the ground so it softens it up greatly. Installing turn downs was the same trick I did to my flowmasters when they got to loud for me. As I got older I got to dislike loud exhausts and I didn`t like the attention from the cops either, even so open flowmasters sound great, it was too loud. Now I just like a mid level good tone. That`s why I went back to what I started with, Turbo Mufflers.
Turbo mufflers exiting under the car without tail pipes or turn downs sound wicked because of there deep tone, the car body magnafies it so it`s twice as loud, really getting attention. But, I don`t do that anymore either, now I got`em exiting out the back, I can`t hear it until I get on it, but, I`d rather be hearing the stereo anyways. |

You're the second person today looking for more noise. This little item looks pretty good to me. You can run the exhaust through a quiet muffler when you are passing the police station, then open the whole mess wide open without any muffler at all when you are in the wide open spaces. Wish I was 16 again, I'd have me a set of these....
