Straight pipes on 1968 Impala?

With a stock 327, what will straight pipes sound like? Doing that will save $$$$. Will it be to loud?

Of course it will be loud. Its the lack of mufflers that make it loud, not the straightness of the pipes.

It will be very loud, probably illegal type loud.
