Strange 9" rearend

Does anyone have a 9" rearend from strange engineering?
I was browsing their catalogue, and it is a bit confusing to read.
I need a complete rearend to -67 camaro, and PRF120 looks good choise to me,but how about the housing? H1115LE with 3,25" tubes looks ok,do they know how wide it has to be in camaro,or is it narrower than original 10b rear?
How about the axles? I understood that 31 splines are biggest axles for posi diff. It`s going to be BB engine car.
How about gearnoise? Are those quiet or `hot rod`.
I hate rearend gearnoise,i am getting a M22 for gearwhine

There are 2 differentials for the 9 inch Ford that are 35 spline. There is the Detroit Locker and the Wavetrac. The Detroit Locker is much cheaper than the Wavetrac, but the Wavetracis stronger and smoother. Moser is the only distributor for the Wavetrac.

The 3.25 axle tubes will cause a little trouble with your U bolts. The 3 inch U bolts will not fit over the 3.25 tubes and the holes in the spring perches will not line up if you get U bolts for the 3.25 tubes.

we made a new bracket to fit the u-bolts.it didnt come with the rear end.not too bad to install.we went with willwood rear brakes.the old brake lines wouldnt work.the fittings are too short.dont screw in far enough.thats the only things we had to change.

I donīt want detroit locker, but what is that wavetrack? Is it same as strange`s truetrac(wormgear) i dont like those either, from what i have heard they are not that good.
Have you installed those wavetracs?i looked at mosers website about that, but didn`t really understood what makes it different from other torsen type diffs, somekind mix of wormgears and friction plates? is it really strong?makes me wonder...

As far as I know the Wavetrac is the strongest differetnial available right now. Moser has been trying to break one on their test machine, but they haven't been able to do it yet. They are only available for the 12 bolt and 9 inch in 35 spline.

Wow, that was interesting. Looks like Wavetrac is doing what they can to make them stronger.
