It seems to me what tazz is saying is about the same as your saying nightrider. Your wanting a car that is for high performance like takeing it to the drag strip every once and a while, and a car that looks good and looks similar to stock. Am I right? If so then, thats what most everyone on this website is doing with their cars, including myself. My truck that I am working on is considered high performance. But it is not all out race, as I drive it on the streets. (Well ok I drive it on the streets when its running, but thats a different story) But my point is, your goals in your car is not uncommon and is very possible as I see it.
But personally, Im with tazz, I wouldn't go all out race with that caddy. Id customize it or restore it to stock.
