Strange turn sig./ brake light prob. solved

I recently ran into a strange problem. I was very careful when doing the wiring of my rear lights on a recent build. When doing a final check, found the brake lite was coming on thru the lense where the turn sig. was originally and turn sig. where the brake was. Simple problem right. reversed wiring- no fix. Turns out - fender was not making proper ground to body - causing the lights to reverse!! I don't have the expertise of many on this board- but I really thought this was weird. Maybe this will help someone not to pull their hair out as I did!

ground is so important.

if you dont then real funny things happen with lights and filaments etc.

you just cant have too much ground! more the better!

especially for lighting systems!
