I think a Quadrajet would best serve your needs, they came on millions of GM vehicles from the 60`s to the 80`s, Q-jets are made by Rochester, a Division of General Motors. they have small primaries for good cruising and efficiantcy and huge secondaries when more power is needed. Edelbrock also makes these, as for your holley it`s a breeze to rebuild.
