Street Demon
After going out of business, Demon carbs seems to be back with a vengeance, at least judging by the number of ads they're running. Has anyone tried the 625cfm Street Demon they are pushing like crazy? I have a 600cfm Edelbrock 1406 on an Edelbrock Performer intake on my 400 SBC, and was wondering whether the Street Demon might make a good switch.
Thanks! |

For a sb 400 i would look into either a 700 or 750dp holley, the 600 is too small, sure it'll do decent on gas, but perf. will be down, as for the new demon carbs, i'm sure there good, but again, a 625 will be too small for a 400.

Thanks for the response. I keep the revs pretty much below 5500, so a 700 or 750 seems kind of big, doesn't it?

Thanks. I was contemplating a 670 Street Avenger, but for now I'll probably stick with the Edelbrock.
