Street Rod Interiors --- Houston, Texas or surrounding cities
Does anyone in the Houston area know of a place that does great custom interiors for street rods. I am at a point where my Willys is ready for interior before moving forward. I am really itching to get it done, but have only found one place in Katy where I am from, but they do awesome work. I would like to see a few shops before making any decisions on where she goes to. Again, I am in Katy, Tx. and thanks for your help...

I was just talking to my neighbor a couple of days ago about my project. He mentioned that there was a fellow down in Dikenson that does good work. I had also stopped by a interior shop over in Alvin (last year) that had an old 57 Chevy in front of it. The kid (his Dad owned the shop) said they did all of the interiors for some resto place in Houston. Can't remember the name of the shop but, they did excellant work. He had just finished the interior. It was really nice work. I couldn't find a single flaw. Tuck n roll leather. I'll find the names of both places and post when I can.

Thanks a bunch. Just got blown out of the water by a fellow down the road from me. I guess since it is a Willys, he quoted my $8000 - $10,000. So far I have been quoted by others $2200 - $2600. I am just at a point were i am nervous and want it to look good.
Thanks Again, Jason |

I would recommend Stitches on Hw6 South. I am not ready for my interior yet but have looked at his work and found it worthy. Close to your location also.

That's interesting. I am a Service Advisor at a local dealership, and Stitches does our warranty interior repairs. I'll call them and see what they can do.

Jason, where in Katy? I'm in Katy, too. I haven't used Stitches on Highway 6, but have heard good things about them. Also I've heard Westside Upholstry has been recommended by several people. They do a lot of work for Volvo.
