Street Rod + Road Course????
I just picked up a 1931 studebaker dictator. Plans are to make my own frame, drop the top, and lower the body. Ive been trying to figure out what I am going to do for the suspension. I've always wanted a road course vehicle, never imagined a street rod. But this car will be low, and open wheeled, so I figured why not weld up a roll cage and put the right suspension in it now!!
So I am wondering what kind of rear end, front end, coils, etc. to try for if I am going to suit both needs. I would like used parts as I am paying for college too!! Any suggestions would be appreciated. THanks.

I will send you to Steve Smith autosports for books on suspension design and such..
Look at the posts and website of Bily Shope as he is a member here..And then do some study..once you have made up your mind as to the design then gather pieces that you need..just do a llittle each month and be determined and it will come together for you.. Sam
