The other day a fellow posted an item about flame paint for a PT Crusier. Well I saw one done and it looked kinda cool so I started thinking, in my warped little mind, about how could a PT be street rodded.
Heres the basic plan. First SBC 350/TH350 or 400 power plant/trans. Narrowed 12 bolt or 9" in the rear. Replace the front steering suspension with Must. II for better handing and stopping. Rebuild the floor pan for room for the transmissin. Tub the rear for bigger tires. Now I would want to do this on a two door model and fill the rear windows to make a mini panel truck out of it. Of course this all goes along with the frame work and such, but leave the outside of the body as stock in apperance as possible, except the rear windows. Yea my idea might be a little warped but if you look at a PT in the right frame of mind(kinda fuzzy) it could be the next Anglia. And we all know how popular they are if they can be found. Now I don't really like Mopar products of any kind but this has a nice feel to it. And yes I do have a warped little mind when looking a future cars to build. Let me know what you all think about this just to see how warped I am. Thanks folks

A friend of ours bought a bare shell with all of the doors to a PT from Chrysler back when the first came out to the market. That was his plans also,to street rod it. He never got around to it and it is still sitting in the corner of the shop.
