What else can you call a car when the chassis and the frame come in a box from the same folks ... and the parts are dedicated to be used only with each other. You got a instruction manual. This here is NOT a kit car ... in the truest sense ... but will require dedication, money, talent and a lot of effort to get back on the road. photo taken Oakland Ca. 1973 You should NOT leave ... you can be a asset to the board ... but then you must do what you feel is best for you.

Anything you wrote, that you were unable to edit yourself, will stay up. If you thought it was good enough to leave up for the 10 day editing period, it's good enough to stay up indefinitely. That's the rules regarding your request. Sorry you feel the need to go, you won't find anyplace where all the members will agree with everything you say. BTW, you do have a kit car. Call it whatever you like today, but that's what it is. Perhaps you should read what you wrote about a week ago, post 888 in this thread... Quote:

I think this thread gets off point every once in a while. To me the problem is Streetbeats management tactics - overstating the simplicity of the build and not timely delivered parts. |

My opinion...but what do I know?..........and, who really cares?...I don't
If your car came from a factory other than Ford etc in the year of manufacture..........steel or fiberglass....................it's a kit car.

Sorry to see you're leaving. But... let me give you a little friendly advice. Most other streetrod forums will have similar opinions about Fiberfab/CMC/Innovative Street Machines/Streetbeast products so just be aware of that. Their cars are not well accepted my most knowledgeable people in the hobby so be advised that you'll have to defend your car where ever you go.
You really do have one of the nicest CMC kits I've ever seen. Good luck. |

Pretty easy actually...

It is easy to have the same IP address from the same location. It is called PAT/NAT (Port Adress Translation/Network Address Translation). Basically the inside private address is translated to a common public IP address. If they both work for the same company hitting the internet from the same location it is quite possible to have the same IP address in public. Dave |
