Bluesman2333 is right. Its like comparing apples and oranges. On one hand you have world class customizers with a sterling reputation and on the other side you have a company who's claim to fame is that they produce the worst pile of garbage possible.

I do need to straighten you out on one thing. There is little to no bias on this board against fiberglass bodied cars. The bias is against any company who floods the market with slick advertising and half truths in order to take advantage of novices. In other words we have no problem with 99.9% of glass body manufacturers. Its just the .1% of slimy shysters such as Streetbeast that we have a problem with.

Well being as I worked for a manufacturer of fiberglass replica bodies for 12 years full time building these, and did contract work for several fiberglass companies after I quit to open my streetrod shop, where I build one off stuff like this out of fiberglass, and work on fiberglass cars like this ,and this, where I work on whatever car a customer brings me, including SB cars,....no Dave, guys like you don't rate at all....

They are all cars, some are better than others. Having worked on Gibbon, Outlaw, Speedway, Streetbeast, Redneck, PoliForm, Wescotts, Harwood, Minotti, as well as Brookville, and Rodbods steel replica bodied cars, gives me a pretty good understanding of what is good, better , and best. It's too bad that many of the aformentioned manufacturers have gone downhill or just out of business.

So far, i have had quick answers to any question, service more than what i thought it would be. A steel car would be great, but the cost is way to high. Just build what you like. I am amazed that folks go out of their way to bash others projects, lots of time on their hands i guess.

Do I like hotrods yes, do I prefer metal too glass yes, the old cars just have sole.. I like the fact that my cars are 75 +, can I spot a glass car best part of the time yes, and if the door is open can see it a mile away, Rob for sure has glass side curtains, could tell more standing next to it ..

The metal cars have very defined lines. curves and corners are tight, bent/formed metal .. glass can not duplicate that.. I am not knocking the glass crowd, but the metal guys cars are worth more, with a qualifier both built the same except for the body .

What I read between the lines on this is that the basic question between egos is mine worth more then yours , as in engines mine is bigger I could go on but you are smart and get the point.

When will we see a rat glass car?
