I built one of these cars 3 years ago and it was a large piece of junk from the get go. The biggest problems we had was with the company itself. The body fit was terrible and lots of details were not right with the hardware. Their customer service people had no clue about anything. We spent over 2000 hours trying to make a quality ride out of this thing. Invest in a better kit to start with and you will be much happier in the end.
Do you have any pictures of what you built? My Classic Motor Carriages '34 came out nice. Still driving it today. I have pictures posted of mine here on the forum. I can't relate to everything here you are saying. Maybe you can show us what you are talking about so others can see for themselves. Do you know of another kit you can recommend to someone here on the forum that is better for the money?
