Just hit the PP button, can't spare much before Xmas, but probably more after.

It takes big cahones to file a lawsuit like this, but when you stick those big cahones out there like that they make a pretty awesome target eh??

I don't use the forum much so I'm glad I received the notice regarding the lawsuit. Money is on the way. Please keep us posted.

Can't refuse

This website has been a wealth of information....not to mention having developed a few good friends along the way. As an amateur at the hobby I rely on those that have the knowledge and experience needed. Now that doesn't mean I believe everything I hear.....but if you hear it enough and you believe that where there is smoke there is fire....then you need to take stock. So thanks to all that have assisted me over the past 4 years in my build.

In closing, I can't nor desire to refuse the opportunity for free speech so long as morally correct. I'll be supporting you Jon.

Recently helped a neighboring shop trying to finish one of these " 34' beasts". It was a challange even for a skilled shop. When we were asked to help with making the hood and hood sides fit, I passed on the job. I had seen first hand what was going into this car fit and finish wise, and wanted no part of it. After another paint shop took over what I passed on and delivered said pieces, after less than a week on the car, the center of the hood began to droop!!! Quite honestly, I remember back in the 80's seeing them advertised and thought something wasn't "quite right" about the look of them. Still not sure today what that was, but I'm more educated about what they are NOT! Good luck Jon, cash is on the way!!!

We need free speech, especially with cars.
Over here in Australia we just see the glossy ads....
Long way to here and a lot of money to buy something you see advertised and have problems with it when it arrives.
Thanks for the support of the web site guys.

I stumbled upon this forum looking for California BAR swap laws, and noticed the auction against the frivolous suit banner. i was curious so i clicked it, and just read all 10 pages of this thread..

all i can say is wow... being a car enthusiast, seeing a company that is supposedly for us enthusiasts pulling c__p like this seriously upsets me. I am not even a hotrodder (I drive a subaru ), but as soon as i have a little extra money (probably january some time) i will send in a donation. Because this lawsuit is not right, and if they succeed in silencing this very large community, then imagine what will happen to all the smaller communities that i belong to...

I dont know anything about anyone in this forum short of what iv read in this thread, but as a fellow car enthusiast and American i sincerely respect Jon, and everyone on this forum who stands behind him
