thanks
I was looking at buying a kit car from them. Their competition will get my purchase. Thank you for shedding light on this travesty.

5:50 PM Pacific time and Streetbeast Insider was peeking in on this thread. Must be Marc's home computer and alter ego.
The fact that he didn't make a post is significant. Given his supposed anti Streetbeast posts to date the fact he didn't say anything now only adds to the notion that he is following their lawyer's advice and not posting on this board. Nothing could be a bigger give away that SB Insider is actually Marcg aka. Streetbeastoptspunk. |

I couldn't donate much, but I did what I could. I applaud you and your efforts, Jon. Very, very few people are out there who stand up for what is right.
Take em down! |

I hope the visitors from Streetbeasts take note of the responses in this thread. Instead of potential customers, potential (free) referrers and potential (free) technical support, Streetbeasts have created resentment and disgust.
Look around -- people on automobile fora talk about good businesses a lot. They talk about the value they received and the responses they get when things go wrong. People also talk about not getting good value and not getting good responses. The worst response, and therefore the one guaranteed to spark the most negative publicity, is for a company to attempt to intimidate those who talk about bad service or products from that company. Since Streetbeasts seem intent on suppressing their company history, maybe a little blast from the past is in order... Quote:

When kids are confronted with being bad many think that a good defense is denial or a loud offense. See any comparisons????

Hey, I can dream. It wouldn't be a bad thing if they'd ditch the mafioso tactics and become the front they tried to put up in the early part of that original thread. Healthy competition is good for customers and business. I can't think of any right now, but surely somebody knows of an example of some company that tried strong-arming, failed, and turned over that proverbial new leaf. BTW, are they still selling their kits under the Ford name? |

You bet. This is straight from their web site. When you click "more info" for their 34 Coupe here's what you get. They only mention "Ford" 5 times which is interesting considering that not a single major body part made by Ford will fit on one of these cars.

I thought, when we were designing our house, that a 27x45 shop would be big enough. Not so. I could use more room even with only two projects taking up room. I'm thinking about building a pole barn to park my pickup in just so when the deuce is done I can park that one in the "garage" portion so I'll have double the space in the shop for the Polara. |

I was also thinking of doing a pole barn,The guy up my street has one,and it is super nice,Yes I made money with that car for the work I had to do.To tell you the truth,If I would have had 4 of them, like it,I could of sold all of them. And I'm not just pulling your leg.I must of done a very good job.For a unfinished car.I got more for it then I have seen some people get for a finished one.I have been thinking about doing a big money car for a while now,Plus It is my dream car.(41 Willys)They bring some big money when done right. But the street beast was a learning point in my life. And for the right price,I'll do it all over again,But my way....I will post the pictures soon,I have to pick it up sometime in NOV.Can't wait!!!! I bought just the main body. The guy that had it, built the car,And was about to paint it,And his garage door opener caught fire in dripped on the roof of the car,and burnt a hole in the top of the car,About a 12'' spot.Easy fix!!!!! He paid $12.000.00 for a new body,I paid $1,600.00 for a new body with a 12'' burnt spot on the roof.Like I said ''EASY FIX'' I will be building my own pro street frame.Off to a good start with very little $$$$ in it so far,But I know it will soon add up.''FAST'' |
