Streetbeasts lawsuit fundraising tachometer graphic request

I'm posting to see if anyone would be interested in "donating" a graphic to use in an upcoming fundraiser to help out with legal fees in the Streetbeasts lawsuit (an update on the lawsuit is here).

I had initially thought that we might use a fundraising "thermometer" type graphic, but one of the mods suggested that a tachometer would be more suitable.

I found some tachometer clipart that might work, but I wanted to check in here and see if anyone had something better up their sleeve. We're essentially looking for a tach graphic that goes up to 10,000 RPM/$10,000, and is fairly easy to "adjust", or substitute in different versions denoting increasing amounts of raised funds.

All we can really offer is a "thank-you", and the eternal glory of listing your name, username, or business name on our official lawsuit donors page. Thanks.

Hey Jon,
I could see what I come up with. Do you want a plain tach (with no needle), or do you want graphics for several points?

Thanks Doodler! I was thinking that we would probably need graphics for 10 different points, or just a blank tach with an accompanying needle graphic. That way, we could just superimpose the needle on the tach, at different points as we raised funds.

That one is pretty easy guys, it's a s simple as ever with a photoshop file, you save the PSD and only move the needle as the level goes up. It can also be done in flash and added as a web page as could the image.

Here's a couple, both are lower resolution than my original, all you do is change the needle when it gets to where it is going. Put words or something around it or add a slogan. Bigger ones are below.

And this one

Not yet Doodler. Always loved your art and now I want to see yours. Turn this into a contest and we can give Jon our votes.

I like the black background and wood grain... that may be because of my age group...

I'm with Cros on this one. The wing look doesn't say hotrod to me, it says motorcycle...those little voices only I can hear....

You guys are awesome with the artwork, if you tell me you did this in a few minutes, I am going to be p.o.ed, it would take me an hour just to open the right program.

I hate to tell you but yes, it was done in about an hour, lol. Circles are easy, more can join in and again, Jon can choose or the guys can vote, I just felt like making a tach. There is a full resolution 300DPI psd if anyone wants to use it for another style of image, 57 is really great with backgrounds, forty is awesome with old school design and there really isn't much you can say about Doodlers one of a kind stuff, feel free to PM me for a psd or use the image and the only thig that changes is the needle.

I also like the last one, I called that GTO dashbord, lol.

Woo-hoo! Thanks Only Racing, looks great . We can wait a little to see if anyone else has something to add, but I really do like the 2nd one. Upload the psd as an attachment when you get a chance, or email it to me at jon@hotrodders.com; I'm a relative graphics newbie, but I can get by in GIMP. I'm assuming that the needle and the tach face are in two different layers.

Also, do you have a url that you'd like me to add to the donor thank-you page? I checked out the url in your profile, but it looks like it's parked for now. If not, I can add your username.

Here's what I was thinking...

The title would need a little tweak, but I think you get the idea,

You may want to rethik that after seeing doodlers, very creative as always. And Cool too.

I do have a PSD, not sure if gimp spports that but it will support a PNG if I'm not mistaken, can create layers in the same fashion. I will be home later this afternoon and will give you a URL to download the PSD and various other formats, I like A combination of others if possible. You can also create a stand alone webage from this, one of my tricks I have figured out.

Agreed; caught me by surprise. I like how his features the exact dollar amount.

I'm interested to see how a graphic is made into a standalone web page.
