strength of 8.2 inch 10 bolt rearend???

Yeah i have a 70 chevelle malibu (327ci and t350 tranny) and i have a problem, here goes. I need anyones opinion on the strength of the 8.2 inch 10 bolt rear end and if you think it can handle what im giving it. I have approxiamately 375hp and 400lbft torque at the motor.

Next weekend i am going to install a tci breakaway stall converter , about 2200 to 2400 stall, and im going to install the b&m transpak to give me more manual control.

Rearend: pansy little stock 8.2 inch 10 bolt rearend. planning to install 3.73 gears (temporary until i find a 12 bolt).

Now the rearend has been able to take what i have been giving it, but it has only been taking the motor, now it'll be given a 2300 stall and 3.73 gears. When i install the tci stall converter im afraid that when i have it at the track and those slicks bite i think its gonna tear that little rearend a new one. I would love to have a 12 bolt (always looking), but i would like to have the 3.73 gears in until i can find a 12 bolt. I heard the 8.2 is rated at about 300 hp but i want some more opinions.
-thanks for your time people.
