a 377ci is not possible, he gave you enough info to prove him wrong. He said its .040 over, so that requires a 3.68 stroke. So by the time you get a rod long enough and given the deck height of a 302, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE 377CI 302 block with .040 PISTONS, FACT!!!, unless you find your self a 1/2 thick head gasket. Now as far as times, it could be possible, 2600 pounds doesnt take alot of HP to reach 10.9's

hes gonna love this, right now his msn messenger name is DAMNIT! so i am assuming something went wrong with the engine. he expects to reach 10's with a stock tranny with a shift kit, and by changing the rear end to a 9" with 4.11 gears, other than that everything else is factory from 1979! even if it did run that fast, they wouldnt let him race it again! this kid has gone through so many crazy engine combos and he said nothing would stop him from doing them but none of them have ever happened. first it was a crazy roller motor, specs unknown, but it was gonna be crazy! then he bought a mistery 302 that was supposed to be rebuilt with a e303 cam, well it barely ran, blew the rear main seal, he found shavings in the pan, the cam was wiped ( at least i think so), and the lifters had 1/8th inch grooves chewed in them, so he decides to change the lifters obviously not fixing the problem, he had plans to put twin turbos on this engine, he even told a guy to start making him the piping, he has no idea how to even properly install a turbo or really even knows how they work, then he bought an awesome 5.0 capri that he took the engine out of becuase it supposidly had some engine work done to it, well when they tore it down for the latest engine swap, the engine was totally stock. now he has this new engine, but by the way he treats his engines it wont last very long.

i just stumbled across some interesting info that proves that something else is not true, he told me it has a flat tappet cam, or in his words and non- roller cam, he put the cam in it. well ford racing doesn't make the "camzilla" for flat tappet use, its a roller cam, he was told it was camzilla, so this obviously is not true.
