Lets see...There's the wharf, it has all kinds of shops, street entertainers, Ghiradelli square, and you should get a walking shrimp cocktail and a beer, it's almost tradition with me. Not too far away on I can't remember street oops, it's Broadway, I believe, night time entertainment, strip joints galore. Then there's the street car rides and the worlds windiest street, can't remember that name either..lol. Oldtimers.. Anyway, there's lots to do, have a good time, watch the niners get spanked. Dan

how long you're gonna be here and when?
I can tell you which cars shows are coming up etc.
SF is a big place, plenty to do. depends on if you want to be touristy or not.
The Wharf/Peir 39/Alcatraz/trollies are all cool, but pricey and "touristy" Theres Haight street, Mission district, and even the castro, if you want a "unique" experience of shopping and people watching. If you are sporty there are kayak trips in the bay, rollerblading in Golden Gate Park, Kiteflying roller blading at Ocean Beach. Dingers right all the strip clubs are in North Beach, most on Broadway.

Pm or reply to this thread. Let me know the dates. I think theres still a car show every weekend till the end of november. I can give you more specifics if needed!

you want touristy? The city is OPEN LATE! I suggest possibly hanging out in north beach for dinner (its the italian part of town) also the strip joints are there. Also you might wanna check out the http://www.metreon.com/ this is Sony theater - mall deal. yeah its pricey and all, but its fun. also its like 4 miles down the freeway from "monster park" where the niners play. If you were gonna do the wharf/peir 39 sunday is gonna be crowded (especially if its a nice day and in october it USUALLY is) Peir 39 has a good arcade.

If your into any particualr thing, let me know. Personally I'll take haight street and the park over the peir anyday.

Not too far south of SF is Monterey, if there will be a female along the Monterey Bay Aquarium is cool, or a little north of SF is Napa Valley.
