can you replace the dipstick on a 351C

great my engine rolled off it's stand and snapped it off

Do you mean the dipstick tube or the dipstick itself?

The tube is a press fit into the block. Remove it carefully and you will then be able to install a new tube.

hmm, if your motor fell off its stand, the dipstick tube may well be the least of your concerns.

Ok ok, call me a jerk but somebody has to make this obvious connection. Ok, so you've got a motor on a stand (whcih I assume will end up in a car). So you can swap a motor but not change a dipstick tube?

yes the motor is going into my car

thankfully only a few replacable parts were bent or broke i just wasn't sure if i could replace the tube since it snapped off
