Sub-Frame Swap
I am thinking of purchasing a 72 Nova and was thinking of swapping out the sub-frame from my 89 Iroc-Z. However I am not sure if this will work and I have never heard of someone doing this. I am trying to find out if any one has done this before? I am thinking of doing it like this cause I am using the motor and transmission and all the fuel injection out of the Camaro. Please if anyone has info on this it will be a great help. I also have access to a 96 subframe also.

swap pieces
Early nova's had the rear mount steering. Later GM cars have the front steering.. I don't know which one you have... On Gm cars it's easier to swap the newer pieces to the older design frame to get bigger Disc brakes, power steering and keep your original sub frame so other things like , radiator, bumpers. inner fender splash panels , etc ...still fit.

i would leave it and just buy some upgraded nova susp. parts
maybe you cand sell whats left of the iroc when you are done, to pay for the parts |

Thank you for all the help. I am guessing that I will just switch out what I can and then just trash the rest of the Camaro.
