If its early 40's it will be to wide..If it's on say like a 48 or so..They work but still a little wide..The Nova is about 1.5'' narrower then the camaro.. I think that measurement is around 6''or 7''..

camaro subframe

Hello
I have narrowed it to match 40 width . I have it reasembled with control ams and such . I have read on past threads that the height is 8to 9 inches to the bottom of the sub frame tails. Is this correct ?
Thanks larry

Keep in mine..If you narrowed a camaro clip..You might want to make sure your motor with headers still fit.. The 8'' to 9'' Might be to the top of the rear part of the clip..Set the clip where the back arms or level with the ground..(with the wheels on..)Then measure what you have..It will probably come down about 1.5 to 2'' with the weight on it...

This may help you..http://www.nastyz28.com/tech/framechk.html

subframe

New
went to nasty nates site the vertical dim. are not close to what I have . I,ve got 8 inches from floor to bottom tails of subframe, going by the two finger to bumber stop and the lower control arms being level ,I should be close. And yes the manifold or headers could be a opportunity .
Thanks larry
