im thinking about painting my 71 chevelle the mopar sublime green with black racing stripes, i think it would look cool. what are yall's opinions?

Sounds alright, but like the person said above me, we dont have to see it, it's however or whatever you want.

Just make sure the body work is exceptionally straight, and that you have some nice rims on there!
Back in high school I had a Dodge Dart Demon in that color, kinda grows on ya.

Dont go with the mopar paint color, use arctic cat green, much nicer.

That combo sound scary. I wouldn't do it , I would go with solid Grey metal flake or Jet black these always look sharp. My 73 SS is Light yellow with Black stripes.Just don't make it look to much like the later chevelle's like mine. It depends if your keeping it for a while. Resale on a odd color may be tough unless original. I painted my 67 Camaro eggplant purple so what do I know.(Hey it looked pretty damn nice with alot of looks and comps.)

Yea I don't plan on ever selling this car, its my baby so resale value isn't important at all. As for the wheels I am getting, I chose black torq thrust II's: 20"x10" in the back and 18"x7" in the front.

I think you'll end up hating the color after awhile. Should be an eye opener though.

Take a pic to the photoshop area and let someone do a number on it. Surely on of the members can PS the wheels you want and the color you want.
