My name is Matt and I am new to this site, just wanted to say hello. I just picked up a 66 suburban that I am going to be working on, when the weather permits (Northeast).

Welcome to the site meltmetal. We used one of those when I was working on a survey crew in the mid 60's. It was light green.

Lots of info and opinions here. To get the most out of the site check out the Knowledge Base and use the search function for quick answers to your questions. As well check out the Project Journals for info and inspiration. Glad to have you here and enjoy the site.

Weather permits???

Hey Matt-Just saw your post we just had a '51 Suburban delivered about 2 weeks ago, but this late season storm here in PA really put a damper on starting anything, we're bummed! Let's hope for some better weather so we can get to work! Good luck on your build!
