SO my gf's brother is into classic rock (which is cool ) and he and my gf's dad put together a list of classic rock songs under the bands they like and they want me to put together a cd for them, only thing is, I can't seem to find 'summer of 69' on any eagles album... I searched ask.com and BMG music club.
Is this a joke?

that's because summer of 69 was a terrible song by Brian Adams. Actually I think he might spell his name with a Y like bryan, which makes him extra annoying.

Bryan Adams is what I call a Rod Stewart wannabe. He had a few decent songs, I like the "Summer of 69" . Reminds me of a John Mellencamp-Springsteen kind of song.

We put a station on at work occasionally at work that plays quite a variety of mostly 80's and 90's tunes, and here bryan adams occasionally. He is one notch above the likes of richard marxs.
Actually I don't think summer of 69 is all that bad. Only one of his songs I can think of off the top of my head. And he redid elvis's song can't help falling in love, lol. I know he had a few songs that were hits.
The eagles on the other hand, too many good songs to list. take it to the limit( think the first album single I got as a kid that wasn't kiddie tunes), take it easy, desperado, witchy women, hotel california.......
